ITP - NT Covid-19 Effects

COVID-19 and other extenuating circumstances
I had a trip to The Peak District planned for the 21st to 24th of Feb but because of personal issues I had to reschedule this trip to the 25th to 30th of March instead. This further displaced my plans to go to the Lake District that same week (25th to 30th) as I couldn't be in two places at once.

Because of this I had decided that I wasn't going to go to the Lake District at all because of the time restrictions I would have had (as I needed to spend my photos off to print by the 6th of April which was only 6 days after coming back from the Peak) and instead I would find a further two locations in the Peak District that I felt would be good for my other two posters.

A couple days before I was set to leave for the Peak District the National Trust sent out an email saying that they were closing all of their sites, this meant I had to cancel my trip completely. It's a good thing I did this as the day before I was set to leave for the Peak District the UK went into a complete lockdown.

As I had a feeling this was going to happen, the days between me cancelling my trip and the UK going into lockdown I was able to go to Sydenham Hills Wood and Epping Forest. Two places in London that had nice landscapes I could take advantage of but unfortunately after that I wasn't able to shoot anymore. This meant that instead of having 4 unique locations for my posters I only had 2.

One way I was able to get around this was by limiting my National Trust brochure to only using two of the three locations I had shot at in the Isle of Wight and using the third location (Bembridge Fort) as another location for a poster.

I didn't have enough unique content remaining to be able to create a fourth poster and therefore I don't have a fourth poster for this Brief through no fault of my own.

If coronavirus/rescheduling hadn't been a thing my locations would have been:

Peak District
- Longshaw, Burbage and the Eastern Moors
- Kinder, Edale and The Dark Peak

Lake District
- Fell Foot
- Buttermere Valley

SHOOTING - Sydenham Hills and Epping Forest
These weren't the easiest places to shoot as it kind of feels like everything is the same and there isn't too many unique places. Despite this I did my best to use angles and the manipulation of the nature lighting to try and create some interesting and different images.
